The Lyngen Alps of Norway are home to some of the most dramatic vertical relief in Northern Europe. We access these peaks via sailboat (Skydancer) giving us access to the full coastline of the Lyngen Peninsula. We access the shore via Zodiac and spend our evenings eating, drinking, and relaxing aboard the Skydancer.

The terrain is vast, with ski tours averaging 5,000-6,000 vertical feet and consisting of couloirs, ramps, and large faces. To fully enjoy this trip you should be prepared for long ski tours--which may include hiking through tundra, skinning, and boot-packing or climbing with and without crampons.

Our late April/early May custom trips leave Tromso, Norway and last one week. All trips are run with 8 guests and 2 guides. All meals are included. Contact me for pricing.

The Lyngen Alps: Skiing, Climbing, Trekking Guide is and excellent resource to familiarize yourself with the possibilities in this region.
